Growing and cutting-edge health system seeks to hire a Physician Assistant/PA or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/PMHNP to work in the inpatient unit of their hospital in the beautiful Washington, NC area

- This 81-bed, not-for-profit hospital which is part of a large health system
- The newly renovated, 15-bed ER serves approximately 27,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns.

- $90- $130,000 annual salary, depending on experience

Your Role with the Company:
- M-F, 8a-5p, on call 1 out of 3 weekends
- Demonstrated competence in crisis intervention, assessing need for psychiatric hospitalization, handling psychiatric emergencies, and supervising referral for inpatient care is required along with ED/IP consult service
- Assesses patient health status including state of wellness,
compliance with care plan and determines appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Background Profile:
- Expertise in inpatient mental health
- Must have psych certification
- Current NC license is a plus
- MSN/APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse)/ARNP/ NP-BC/, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/ PA, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/ PMHNP
