Who should make the offer to the candidate?
*The more critical the role is to the organization the more important it is for these 4 steps to come from someone higher up in your organization. ….e.g. if it’s a critical to fill Gastroenterologist role, the CEO, CMO or Chief Clinical Officer does these 4 steps with the candidate. Then HR or the recruiter emails the offer to the candidate and answers all the candidates’ questions.
1-call them and explain to them why you are choosing them…list specific things about their personality, skillset, and background. If applicable, share how many people you interviewed and that they were the #1 choice.
2-Explain why you think they are a good fit for this specific role.
3-Explain how important this role is for the organization.
4-Lastly, paint the picture of what you think they can accomplish within your organization in the next 5-10 years.
Thanks!
