What a crazy year 2020 has been so far – in the middle of the chaos, we wanted to share some exciting news for one team members here at NOW Healthcare Recruiting.
Katie Ozburn had a long-weekend planned following the fourth of July to relax and take in the views of Palmetto Bluff just about 2 hours south of Charleston. What she thought was a belated birthday celebration quickly became more exciting when her boyfriend of 2+ years popped the big question, “will you marry me?”. Tears of joy were already flowing when her immediate family walked in behind her adding to the joyous surprise. She was completely shocked to see the masked faces of her parents coming from MI, her sister coming from Chicago, her brother and his wife from GA and her grandparents from SC. As the shock of seeing her family was setting in, they revealed the surprise that they had all been working behind the scenes for the last 4 weeks to plan her dream wedding….which would take place the next day!
Katie and Andrew got married Tuesday July 7th with their immediate family in Palmetto Bluff, SC. It was an intimate affair with every detail planned to a T by the people that know her best. Katie is thrilled to announce her new name Katie Patterson…and who knows, surprise weddings might start catching on in 2021!
